Fawaly privacy policy

Fawaly is provided by Daxow Automation. For questions and data requests, contact support@daxow.com. This page describes the Mac control room, its internal execution engine and this product site. Third-party AI providers have their own policies.

Local data and keys

Fawaly stores crew configuration, local task metadata, review decisions and supported usage information on your Mac. Provider keys use macOS Keychain, not the roster file. Fawaly does not implement advertising, tracking or a Fawaly-operated analytics/telemetry service.

When task data leaves your Mac

When you connect a provider and authorize a task, its tool/service can receive the instructions, code and files included in the task context. Processing and retention follow that provider's terms. Local work-log storage does not mean AI inference is local. Local model tools can process tasks locally depending on their configured endpoint. Include only information you are authorized to share; exclude unrelated secrets and personal data.

Supported provider checks, discovery and enabled signed-catalog sources make network requests to the configured services. The Store UI contains no Sparkle updater. Any enabled direct-engine update service is separate from App Store updates. Fawaly does not buy or renew provider subscriptions for you.

Optional iCloud

If you choose sync, selected settings are sent to your private iCloud database through Apple. Keys, work logs and permission for metered fallback do not sync. Sync is optional and experimental; two-Mac delivery/conflict acceptance is not complete.

Permissions and Demo

Notifications are optional. Keychain prompts occur when keys are needed. Project selection and worker execution scope are contextual. Connecting providers does not require Full Disk Access, screen recording or Accessibility control. Demo uses isolated simulated data and no real model calls.

Website and support

This product page adds no analytics or advertising scripts. The showcase video and poster are served from this website without a third-party player embed; playback starts only when you choose it. Daxow's hosting infrastructure processes normal request data needed to serve pages. This site does not currently offer downloads. Emailing support shares the information you choose to send with Daxow and its email service. Do not email keys, passwords, verification codes or private source files.

Retention and your choices

Local records and backups remain until you remove them. Removing the UI alone does not remove the engine, provider tools, backups or iCloud data. You can disconnect providers, turn off optional features, review local data and contact support for scoped backup/removal guidance. Provider-side data requests must also be made to the relevant provider; we cannot promise deletion or retention behavior on its behalf.

We may update this policy when the product changes. The effective date above identifies this version.
